When thinking of the world's best selling liquor brand, the first thought that might come to mind is, something that Diageo owns; the second thing that might come to mind is, a Vodka brand. If that is the case then both assumptions are wrong. Beating out Smirnoff, one of Diageo's Vodka brands, is a local South Korean rice liquor named Jinro.
What is even more amazing is that fact that Jinro is a local brand and it beat out the globally recognized Smirnoff. That puts me on a mission to try to get a taste of this Jinro; I will report back when I do.

This is an ingenious way to market your brand; pulled off brilliantly by a French lingerie company. A few weeks ago, we heard all over about 2PAC performing on stage as a hologram, it didn't take long for this technology to make it's way to the marketing world. Of course this will not work for all brands, but if you have a sexy product, or something need demonstrating; why not use that dead time to build your brand?

This past Memorial Day weekend I had an event at my place. To keep my guest entertained, I went to the liquor store to buy some drinks. At the checkout, I saw this Courvoisier Rose that I had never seen or taste before. The bottle attracted me, so I decided to give it a try.Great thing I did; I really enjoyed the drink. It finished that evening and I had to get another one to continue my experiment with the drink. I like the fact that it was a light drink that will still catch up to you later. It was not sweet as some Rode drinks are, just a great blend of Cognac with light flavorings. As with all other beverages, you have to be in the mood for that kind of drink or it would not hit the spot. If you are in the mood for a hard drink with a lightly sweetened taste, give it a shot and tell me what your thoughts are.
